Our Journey during 2018 was a bit stop and start with small projects coming through the front door such as rehabilitate furniture for private and business community member, made table/seat units for local pre-schools and assisted local clubs and organisations with other requirements. We were contracted to supply quite a number of aquariums for a research organisation during the year and we made 6 timber dart cases and three prizes for our Christmas raffle. We had a long term project with Belmont North Sea Scouts, repairing quite a number of their skiffs and boats.

As the result of a new partnership with Charter Hall (lake Macquarie Fair), we supplied a 3m x 2m cubby house for a fund raising raffle conducted by Charter Hall for the benefit of the Windale Men's Shed. We also commenced a major fefit for the Shed to provide a safe and more efficient environment for the Shed members.

Shed members were kept fairly busy during the year completing projects for pre-schools, child minding centres (about 10 large bench seat/picnic table sets and 2 wall storage units), repairing several row boats used by a neighboring charity used for training young sea scouts and many projects that just come through the front door.

Several community projects were completed during the year with a view to assist local charities. Several "Tonka" type toy vhicles were refurbished , a "Billy-Cart" and a large timber donation collection bin constructed and donated to assist selected charities with their fund raising.

Shed members are regularly busy with projects emanating from local communities, and mostly from providers for early learning and special needs schools. Recent projects completed are a small in-playground fence and a 'friendship seat' which was specially designed for a school.
